Acceptance

By using Curio you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Curio is

Curio is an alarm clock that asks you to answer a question to turn the alarm off. It is a consumer convenience tool. It is not a medical device and should not be relied on where a missed wake-up could cause harm to health, safety, or property.

Alarm reliability

Curio uses Apple's system alarm features to ring through silent mode. Even so, alarms depend on your device and its settings. An alarm may not sound if the device is powered off, out of battery, in certain audio routes such as a connected car or headphones, or if system permissions are turned off. You are responsible for testing that your alarm works for your setup and for keeping a backup where the stakes are high.

Subscriptions

Curio Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. It renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel in the App Store subscription settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.

Acceptable use

Use Curio for personal, lawful purposes. Do not attempt to break, reverse engineer, or misuse the app or its content.

Disclaimer and liability

Curio is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, the maker of Curio is not liable for any loss arising from a missed alarm or from use of the app.
